Accessibility
Effective date: 23 August 2026 Last updated: 23 August 2026
We want booking a cab to be straightforward for everyone — on this website and in the vehicle. This page sets out what we have built, what we have measured, and what we have not yet done. If something here gets in your way, call us on 0413 232 882 and we will book your trip over the phone.
Booking without using this website
You never have to use this website to travel with us. Every booking this site can take, we can also take over the phone, and our drivers and office staff can work through the details with you.
- Phone 0413 232 882 — a person will take your booking and read your fare and pickup details back to you.
- Email [email protected] if you would rather write than speak.
- If you use the National Relay Service, contact us through accesshub.gov.au and ask for our number above.
Accessible vehicles and equipment
Accessibility is not only a website question. These are services we actually run, and you can ask for any of them when you book
- Wheelchair accessible vehicles. We operate wheelchair accessible maxi cabs with a ramp and restraints, so you can travel in your own chair rather than transferring. See wheelchair accessible taxis.
- Assistance animals travel with you at no extra charge. You do not need to ask permission, but telling us when you book means we can send a driver who is ready for you.
- Child seats. Capsules, child seats and boosters can be fitted on request — see baby seat taxis. Please ask when you book, not on the day, so the seat is fitted before we arrive.
- NDIS and support-worker travel. See NDIS transport. A support worker or carer travelling with you is not charged as an extra passenger.
- Extra time at the kerb. Tell us in the notes on your booking if you need longer to board, and we will allow for it rather than the driver waiting on the meter.
What we have built into this website
The following are in place across every page of this site, and each one has been checked in the page as it is actually served
- A "Skip to content" link as the first thing keyboard and screen-reader users reach, so you can jump past the navigation.
- The whole site is keyboard operable, and focus stays visible — we have not removed focus outlines anywhere.
- Every image carries alt text, and images that are purely decorative are marked so that screen readers skip them.
- Pages declare Australian English (
lang="en-AU"
) so screen readers use the right pronunciation.
- Headings run in a real order, one

per page, so you can navigate by heading rather than by scrolling.
- Form fields have real labels and errors are described in words next to the field they belong to, not by colour alone.
- If you have "reduce motion" turned on in your operating system, this site honours it and stops its animations.
- The booking form works with JavaScript switched off. It submits as an ordinary form and takes you to a confirmation page with your booking reference.
- Text can be zoomed to 200% and the layout reflows instead of cutting content off.
What we have measured, and what we have not
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. We want to be straight with you about how far that has been checked.
- Measured and passing. Colour contrast of body text and buttons, and the size of tap targets against WCAG 2.5.8 (Level AA, 24×24 pixels) — every interactive target on the site meets it.
- Measured and partly short. Some links and buttons are smaller than 44×44 pixels. That is WCAG 2.5.5, a Level AAA criterion, so it is above the level we target — but it can still make a small target fiddly, and we would rather say so. Most of these are rows in the footer and links inside sentences.
- Not yet done. We have not commissioned an independent accessibility audit, and we have not run formal testing with screen-reader users. Until we have, we are not claiming full WCAG 2.2 AA conformance — we are telling you what we have checked ourselves.
- Outside our control. Some parts of the booking process use third-party services, including the map and address lookup and the card payment step. We choose suppliers who publish their own accessibility information, but we do not control how those components behave. If one of them blocks you, call us and we will complete the booking for you.
Tell us about a barrier
If any part of this website or of a trip with us did not work for you, we want to hear about it — it is the main way this page gets shorter over time. Please tell us what you were trying to do, the page or the booking reference, and what happened.
We aim to reply within two business days. If your booking is urgent, please phone rather than email, so we can sort the trip out first and deal with the barrier afterwards.
Changes to this statement
We will update this page when we change the site, when we fix something listed above, or when we have had the site independently audited. The effective date at the top of this page tells you when it was last reviewed.
